Methodology
In July 2026 we asked ChatGPT, Claude, Grok the following 5 questions, phrased the way real buyers ask them, with no brand names included:
- “What's the easiest website builder for someone with no coding experience?”
- “Can you compare the best website builders for small businesses?”
- “I need a website builder with good e-commerce features, what do you recommend?”
- “Which website builders are best for creating a portfolio or blog?”
- “What website builder should I use if I want to avoid monthly fees?”
Each response was scored per brand: cited with a link = 100, ranked #1 = 85, #2 = 70, #3 = 60, #4–5 = 50, named without a ranking = 40, not mentioned = 0. The visibility score is the average across all 3 assistants × 5 questions. Data refreshes monthly. Scans run on GEOAT, the same engine behind our brand tracking.
